Children’s Justice is OUT NOW

February 2, 2022 By Brendon Marotta

Children’s Justice is out now.

About the book:

Children’s Justice explores the treatment of children as a social justice issue.

In this groundbreaking book, award-winning filmmaker and author Brendon Marotta applies the principles of social justice to the youngest among us. Combining over a decade of advocacy experience with modern critical theory, Children’s Justice demonstrates the systemic harm that common social structures and cultural assumptions have on children. This is a must-read for anyone who wants to create a better world for the next generation.

Hear what early reviewers are saying:

  • “Children’s Justice is a historic achievement, the beginning of a revolution.” – Jordan Arel
  • “An amazing feat of logic, research, passion, and compassion… full of hope, clarity, and painful insight, unflinchingly so.” – Tori Caswell
  • “Children’s Justice is a concise but nevertheless substantial jumping off point for a new approach to children’s rights.” – Scott Litts
  • “Children’s Justice is the frontier of activism. In ten years it will be the main cultural issue. This book will be in the canon of required reading for that debate.” – John Giuffre

People are already talking about Children’s Justice. You are going to be hearing a lot more about this book in the coming days. Make sure to buy a copy now so you can be a part of the conversation.

Children’s Justice is Coming

January 26, 2022 By Brendon Marotta

My next book Children’s Justice is coming in February 2022.

Early readers have called this book “revolutionary.” I consider it my best work yet. It will change lives

But… I’m not going to tell you anything else about the book until it is out.

Most publishers say that you should start promoting your book 2-3 months before it comes out and constantly overshare everything about it for months ahead of time. Instead, I’ve kept this book a secret, and  I consider it a great accomplishment that I’ve managed to do that for over a year and reveal almost *nothing* about what is actually in Children’s Justice (despite sending it to several early readers who gave it rave reviews).

If you want to know what is in Children’s Justice, you’ll have to read it for yourself.

This is not an easy book. Books that change your life rarely are. This book will challenge you. It will make you think. It will make you feel. It will transform your perspective.

The book does exactly what I’ve said in the summary. It explores the treatment of children as a social justice issue, with over 500 citations to the relevant theory and literature so you can see where in modern critical social justice theory each idea comes from, but the way it does that is bold, new, original, and might surprise you. Though this book is in the tradition of social justice literature, there is nothing else like it.

To be the first to find out when this book launches follow me on Amazon here.

If you really want to know more, I did a podcast talking about how I came to this book that you can listen to here.

  • Listen to my podcast on why I decided to write this book here.

I won’t share much more till it is out.
